Over the next while, I will address why I want to do some things like journalling, vision boards etc.
I am striving to do this daily and I’m sure I will tweak it as well.

A Balanced Life….What’s That?

Welcome to my blog.  I’m trying to live a balanced life but stumble regularly, so I decided to start a blog to see if that will help me to find the balance I’m looking for. I’m a late 40’s woman, married with 2 grown kids.  I am semi-retired, doing books for our business part time.  You might say, you don’t work full time? Your kids are adults? Why don’t you have a balanced life?  My problem is procrastination, time to do some stuff and the fact I can put it off and it won’t matter.  No matter what the reasons, I’m using this site as an accountability site as well as sharing some of the life lessons I have learned, some insights and living life full of passion and wonder.

My biggest goal at the moment is to get my health in order.  I’m about 215 pounds and being 5’¾” (and don’t forget the ¾ of an inch, please)  makes me very overweight.  I’ve been fortunate I don’t have any major health concerns but if I keep it up, I will.  Over the next little while I will set out some goals and plans and hope I can inspire others to do the same.  I am a huge proponent of living your biggest life and following your dreams but we need to have dreams first and big ones!!

This is a put something out there and see how it goes plan, it will get tweaked and changed and hopefully I can find the balance I am looking for.  I tend to get overwhelmed as I do have a lot of goals and dreams I want to accomplish along with the daily mundane to do’s of life, which when I get overwhelmed get left undone as does most other things.

If you have any opinions or insights, I’m completely open to them.  If you have any cruel and rude remarks, I won’t listen, I also won’t publish them.  I have tuned that out many years ago and refuse any type of bullying in my life, been there, done that, done with it.  The only way we can make this a better world is to help one another in a kind manner and our world is in really rough shape right now.  Financially, spiritually and healthfully, we are suffering but we don’t have to.
